Engineer

I’ve been engineering recordings professionally since 1999. After graduating with a BSEE in Audio Engineering from the University of Miami, studying with such luminaries as Ken Pohlmann, I worked in the audio post production field for six years before transitioning to full-time music production. As a co-owner of the Magic Closet for twelve years, I worked with some of the best artists in the Portland scene, as well as national and international artists. I am now working with several area studios, which gives me the flexibility to choose the best and most appropriate studio for your project.

In the studio, my goal is to capture your essence as an artist and get the best possible version of that sound. I call my style “enhanced realism.” I try to avoid using production tools just because they’re available; if I’m putting a flanger on a track, there better be a good reason!
